Create Program
Create New
Adding a new item to your event schedule is quick and easy.
- On a large screen: Click the Add new Item button.
- On a mobile device: Tap the Round + button in the bottom right corner.
Update Existing
To update an existing item in your schedule, simply select it from the list on the left. This will open its details for editing.
Program Details
Once you start creating a new item, you will fill in these sections to give attendees all the necessary information.
Image
Personalize your program item by adding an image. You can use the image picker to upload a new one or select an image you've used before.
Location
Specify the location for your item. Once created, you can easily reuse it for multiple items in the same event. For extra convenience, include an optional URL that links directly to a map when users tap the location in the app.
For example, here's how to get a Google Maps URL:
- On your computer, open Google Maps.
- Go to the part of the map you want to share.
- In the top left, click the Menu icon.
- Select Share.
- Click Send a link and then Copy link.
- Paste this link into the LocalEvent Location picker as the URL.
Date
Choose the start day for your program item.
Start Time
Enter the start time.
End Time
Indicate the end time. If your item doesn't need a specific end time, you have two simple ways to ensure only the start time shows in the app:
- Uncheck the box next to the "To" label.
- Set the End Time to be the same as the Start Time.
Title
This is the name of your schedule item.
Description
Use the What You See Is What You Get(WYSIGM) Editor to write an optional description for your item.
